“If I had a million dollars I would donate the money to the DMUSD so we can have more Design Thinking. I didn’t like writing before, but now you can by my book on the Some Needs We All Need website, and I’m writing a new one!”

WHAT is DESIGN THINKING?
Design Thinking is a way of thinking. It fosters innovation by combining creativity and analytical approaches to problem solving. It requires collaboration across different disciplines, or subject areas, or career fields. Stanford d.school Executive Director Sarah Stein Greenberg describes it as a "process that highlights problem finding as much as it does problem solving. It is a human-centered design process: one that encourages designers to observe users in the authentic context of their lives and 'empathize,' or experience the same problems that their users are experiencing."
